Plans, upgrades, and cancellations

Billing in Badgr is intentionally boring. Month-to-month on every tier, no contracts, no per-seat surprises. This article covers the operational basics.

The four tiers

Starter — £39/month. 1 LinkedIn account, 1 seat.
Growth — £99/month. 3 LinkedIn accounts, 3 seats, whitelabel-ready.
Agency — £249/month. 10 LinkedIn accounts, unlimited seats.
Enterprise — custom. Unlimited accounts, full whitelabel, SAML SSO, custom DPA.

Free trial

14 days, no credit card required. You can connect accounts and run real campaigns during the trial. At the end of the trial, you either add a card to continue or the account pauses (data preserved for 60 days in case you come back).

Founding members get 3 months free in exchange for a weekly feedback call. There are 50 founding spots; spots are still open as of May 2026.

Upgrades

Upgrade any time from Settings → Billing. Upgrades are prorated to the day:

If you upgrade mid-cycle, you’re charged the difference for the remainder of the billing period.
The new tier’s features (more accounts, more seats) are available immediately.

There’s no review process and no “talk to sales” gate for upgrades to Starter / Growth / Agency. Enterprise does require a conversation because of the custom contract elements (SAML, DPA terms).

Downgrades

Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, not immediately. You keep paid-for capacity until then.

If your current usage exceeds the downgraded tier’s limits (e.g., you have 5 connected accounts and you’re downgrading to Starter which allows 1), the downgrade flow asks you to disconnect or designate which accounts to keep before confirming.

Cancellation

Cancel from Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. No phone call, no retention specialist. Your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing cycle.

After cancellation:

Your dashboard becomes read-only at the end of the billing cycle.
All campaign data, audience lists, message history, and account-health logs are retained for 60 days.
Within those 60 days, you can either reactivate or download a full data export (CSV).
After 60 days, data is permanently deleted. You’ll get an email 7 days before deletion as a final reminder.

Refunds

Within 14 days of first payment: Full refund, no questions. Just email hello@badgr.ai.
After 14 days: Case-by-case per our Refund Policy. We’ve been reasonable about partial refunds for situations like “I forgot to cancel before annual renewal.”

Switching from annual to monthly (or vice versa)

You can switch billing frequency at any time:

Monthly → annual: Switches at the next renewal. The 20% annual discount kicks in then.
Annual → monthly: Switches at the end of the current annual term. We don’t pro-rata refund the annual amount for a switch.

Payment methods

Stripe handles all billing. Accepted:

All major credit and debit cards
Apple Pay / Google Pay
SEPA Direct Debit (for EU accounts)
Wire transfer (Enterprise tier only)

Currency is automatically GBP / USD / EUR based on your billing country. You can change displayed currency on the pricing page but billing currency is determined by your card’s country.

Tax / VAT

UK VAT is included in the listed prices for UK customers. For EU customers, VAT is added at checkout per your country’s rate. For non-UK/EU customers, no VAT applies. A proper VAT invoice is available in the dashboard for every charge.

Founding member terms

If you’re a founding member, your discount (3 months free, then 25% off forever) is applied automatically. The “25% off forever” persists across plan changes — if you upgrade from Growth to Agency, the discount carries over.

The discount is tied to your account, not transferable to a new workspace or different email.
